Retargeting Pixel

A tiny image beacon that records site visits for the same project that powers your short links.

What it is

The retargeting pixel is a 1×1 tracking image served by Flinku. Embedding it on your marketing site lets Flinku record that a browser visited your domain, using the same project id as your deep links.

Add to your website

Paste a single <img> tag near the end of your page body or in a shared layout template:

html

What it tracks

Each load records that a device visited your website in the context of the project id. That can be combined with link analytics to reason about users who saw your site before or after clicking a Flinku short link.

Privacy

The pixel does not set cookies and does not collect personal data fields by itself—it is a minimal request/response image load. Align use with your privacy policy and applicable regulations.

Use case

Know when a link clicker previously visited your website, or build audiences that combine site presence with app install campaigns managed in Flinku.

API

GET /api/pixel/:projectId — no authentication; returns a transparent GIF and records the visit. See API Reference → Retargeting pixel .
