Deepview pages
Branded interim pages users see before the app opens or the store redirect, ideal for social previews and trust.
What a Deepview is
A Deepview is a lightweight HTML page served for your short link before the final redirect. It can show your logo, title, short description, and app store buttons while crawlers and users get a consistent branded experience.
Configure in the dashboard
- Open link settings → Deepview or Social preview.
- Set title, description, and hero image; optional custom CSS on supported plans.
- Preview on mobile and desktop before publishing.
iOS behaviour
Users who already have your app open it directly through Universal Links and never see the Deepview, as long as your app lists your Flinku host under Associated Domains. For everyone else the Deepview loads, and two project settings under Project → Deepview control what it does.
- Default. The page tries to open your app through its URI scheme shortly after loading. If the app is not installed, Safari shows its own invalid address message and the visitor continues with the App Store button. Tapping Open in App tries the app again and continues to the App Store when it does not open.
- Skip automatic app open on iOS. The page makes no automatic attempt, so visitors without the app never see the Safari message. They choose Open in App or the App Store button themselves.
- Send iOS visitors straight to the App Store. The page skips the app open attempt and redirects to your App Store URL. Use it when your links mostly reach people who do not have the app yet. It does not apply inside in app browsers such as Instagram or Telegram, where the Deepview stays on screen.
The click is recorded when the link is opened in all three modes, so match() can return the destination on first launch through fingerprint matching. The clipboard fallback only applies when the visitor taps the App Store button, so it is not available with the automatic redirect.
